Cognia Accreditation
In 1999, Hillcrest School was first accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), which was one of the six regional accreditation organizations recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. SACS/CASI was later incorporated into the new organization Cognia, which continues the accreditation process and requires organizations to meet the Cognia standards and accreditation policies, and engage in continuous improvement.
